The Local Child Care Planning Council (LPC) plans for child care and development services based on our best assessment of the needs of the families in Tehama County. Representatives of the Council are appointed by the Tehama County Board of Supervisors and the Tehama County Superintendents of Schools.

The Local Child Care Planning Council (LPC) plays a vital role in strengthening early learning across our community. By bringing together families, child care providers, educators, and community leaders, LPC works to ensure that all children in Tehama County have access to high-quality, developmentally appropriate care and education.
